Lulla Doll Sleep companion
Lulla doll is a sleep companion for preemies, babies and toddlers. It imitates closeness to a caregiver at rest with its soft feel of natural cotton and soothing sounds of real-life breathing and heartbeat. Lulla's unique design is based on scientific research that shows how closeness improves sleep, wellbeing and safety. Nothing can replace human contact, but sometimes we can't stay physically close to our babies all the time and in those situations Lulla will be there to offer comfort to your baby.

Machine washable up to 60°C

Lulla communicates through:
HEARING: The soundbox inside Lulla plays a record of the breathing and heartbeat of a real-life mum up to 8 hours straight. The reason why babies sleep so well on the chest of a parent is they tend to synchronise their heartbeat and breathing to the adult's which in turn will help the baby stay calm and relaxed.
TOUCH: Lulla is made of soft cotton blend fabric that is lovely to touch and machine washable (in up tp 60° wash) and safe for even the most delicate babies.
SMELL: By keeping the doll near you, it will absorb some of your smell, which will provide comfort to your baby. This is especially important for premature babies or children who have to stay in the hospital. A Lulla doll that smells like home will provide comfort and security.
LOOK: Lulla's neutral colours make it suitable companion for all genders and races.
Lulla is an Icelandic innovation and has been developed in cooperation with psychologists, midwifes, nurses, and parents.
Lulla is safe even for newborn babies: Lulla has hidden velcro straps in her back pocket so it can be attached to your baby's bed without problems so you won't have to worry about loose items in your newborn's crib. The sound volume is 65dB making it safe for babies' sensitive hearing.
Lulla dolls' unique design is based on multiple scientific research on closeness, kangaroo care, the effects of heartbeat and breathing sounds, and the effects that smell, sight and touch have on babies and small children. The positive effects of closeness suggested by multiple scientific research are:
♥ Longer periods of uninterrupted sleep
♥ More stable heartbeat and breathing rhythm
♥ Reduced chances of apnea and SIDS
♥ Increased well-being and lowered stress
♥ Healthier sleeping patterns
